Marriage and divorce in America are statistics that are almost impossible to find based on race. Interestingly, marriage and divorce are not two categories where blacks are always on the bottom and whites are on the top.

Since marriage in some states is as young as 15 years old, the U.S. Census calculates the marriage and divorce data below based on people in the U.S. who are 15years old or older.

The numbers are below are from the U.S. Census Bureau SIPP, 2004 Panel. The results below show percentages that are all rounded up or down accordingly.

In 1967,the U.S. Supreme Court struck down state laws banning interracial marriage.

A record 14.6% of all new marriages in the U.S. in 2008 were between people of different races or ethnicity. The percentage was 6.7% in 1980 according to a Pew Research Study. It took nearly 28 years for intermarriages of newlyweds to double.

There is a much greater acceptance level if someone in the family marries a white person versus a black person. 81% said it is okay if the person is white versus only 66% if the person is black.

Venus Williams has done it again. She has people talking about another self designed tennis outfit. This one was made for the French Open.

For her opening two games of the tournament which were both wins, Venus choose a lace outfit with skin tone body shorts which look as though she is not wearing anything under her tennis outfit. She also designed the undershorts.

Anyone who follows the sport of tennis knows that sexy outfits and very short tennis dresses are part of the game for women.

Diane Campbell saved up her money and went to Apple to buy an iPad. She was not allowed to buy the iPad. She was told that the store only accepts a debit card or credit card for purchases of iPads.

Of course she thought that the employees at the Palo Alto store were kidding. An employee explained to her that the policy was Apple's way of reducing piracy customers who are interested in buying large amount of iPads and selling them overseas.

Facebook has been constantly changing their policies regarding privacy. They believe that Facebook users should be willing to share more about themselves.

Facebook CEO, Mark Mark Zuckerberg announced that in his view, the age of privacy is over.

Apple is now the second largest company listed on the S&P 500 index.

Apple reached a market cap of $241.5 billion; when trading stopped Thursday, Microsoft's market capitalization was $239.5 billion. That put Apple in second behind Exxon.

Technically speaking, only about 87% of Microsoft's shares are publicly traded so they are still bigger, but Apple is coming on strong.

With their strong line up of iPods, iPhones, iPads, and Macs, Apple is clearly the technology leader. These Apple products are hot, hot, hot. Even my 10 year old son knows that Apple and Steve Jobs are at the top of their game as he explained to me recently.

Microsoft's Windows is still on about 90% of computers worldwide, but their numbers are dropping slowly but surely. Microsoft will be around for a long time to come; however, they are becoming like General Electric.

Microsoft is almost always number one or two in every sector that they invest or buy into but they are having a hard time leading the pack with new, cutting edge products that comes from their own design, engineering, and creative operations.

Apple received a big push on Tuesday when they reported a profit increase of 90 percent and an increase of 49 percent in revenue. Microsoft was unimpressive when it reported a 35 percent increase in profit and 6 percent jump in revenue.

The definition of a scorned woman has taken on a new meaning. Women are showing that they can be quite vicious and revengeful when the relationship ends.

Here is a great story about a guy whose iPhone was stolen from his car while he was at church. He used MobileMe to locate the phone and then printed out pictures of the suspect's house. Him and another victim contacted police and had their iPhones returned the following day.

The cost of MobileMe for those not interested in synchronizing data between their iPhone and home computer would be the same as buying an insurance policy for the phone. This option would not make sense for everyone, but it could be better than the $400 to $500 to replace a missing iPhone for some people.

Caressa Cameron who is Miss Virginia won the 2010 Miss America crown. She is a 22 year old woman, and the daughter of a contractor and background researcher for the government.

She has spoken about being motivated to enter and compete in pageants at the age of 14, when Miss Virginia 2003 Nancy Redd visited her school. This is another example of how seeing someone like yourself in a position that is positive can have a lasting impact on a child, teenager, or young adult. Caressa Cameron, is a broadcast journalism student at Virginia Commonwealth University. She plans to take off the year from school to handle all the fundraising and charity work that comes with the territory of being Miss America.
