Bridgeport Chicago Couple Refuse To Sell 1.7 Million Dollar Home To Black Couple

Comedian and co-host of the nationally syndicated radio program "The Michael Baisden Show", George Willborn and his wife Peytyn Willborn made a 1.7 million dollar offer to buy the home of the Sabbias family.

The house was on the market for 2 years, listed at 1.799 million, and this was the highest bid the Sabbias family had received.

According to the real estate agent, the Sabbias family decided to take the home off of the market shortly after accepting the bid but refusing to sign the sales contract because they would rather not sell to an African American family.

the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has announced charges against Daniel and Adrienne Sabbias for housing discrimination in violation of the Fair Housing Act.
